CC Provet Plugin does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. It runs entirely within your browser.

What CC Provet Plugin does

CC Provet Plugin is a Chrome extension built by Creature Comforts Vets for internal use by our clinic teams. It adds guidance messages, warnings, and guardrails to pages within Provet Cloud — our practice management system — to help staff follow the correct workflows and avoid actions that could cause data integrity issues.

Host permissions

The extension activates only on pages under provetcloud.com, limited to three specific URL paths that correspond to our development, staging, and production environments. It does not run on any other website.

How it works

The extension injects a content script into Provet Cloud pages. This script reads the page's DOM (the structure of the page you see in your browser) to identify specific buttons, form fields, and labels. Based on a set of rules bundled inside the extension, it may display an informational message, show a warning dialog, disable a control, or block an action.

All of this processing happens locally in your browser. The extension makes no network requests, stores no data, and sends nothing to Creature Comforts or any third party.

Remote code

The extension does not use remotely hosted code. All JavaScript is bundled at build time and distributed within the extension package. No scripts are fetched, injected, or executed from any external server at runtime.

Changes to this policy

If the extension's data practices change, we will update this policy and the effective date above. Because the extension currently collects no data, any change would represent a material shift and we would notify users through the Chrome Web Store listing.
