Dentistry

Everything your pet needs for a healthy mouth - from routine check-ups to full dental treatments

What we offer

Dental examination

A consultation to take stock of your pet’s oral health. We’ll look at their gums and teeth, any plaque or tartar, and talk through how their lifestyle and daily habits affect what’s going on in there.

Dental procedures

Under general anaesthetic, each tooth is probed and examined individually. X-rays are taken where needed, and we professionally scale and polish - paying close attention to the important area hidden under the gumline.

Other treatments

Sometimes a closer look reveals something that needs more attention - like an extraction or gum surgery. We’ll always talk this through with you and get your go-ahead before moving forward.

Home care

Great dental health doesn’t stop at the clinic door. We’ll show you how to maintain clean teeth and fresh breath at home - from toothbrushing techniques to mouth sprays and other clever tricks from our vet and nurse team.

Our approach

A dedicated dental suite in every clinic

We believe a healthy mouth means a healthier pet overall - so every clinic has its own fully-equipped dental space. Because good dentistry deserves more than a corner of a prep room.

Dental x-ray in-house

Top-of-the-range equipment on-site means we can see exactly what's going on inside the teeth and below the gumline - the bits that matter most but are often missed.

What pet parents are saying

I cannot describe how exceptional this place is. This is how a vet should be. No stress, friendly and supportive.

Hannah,

Murphy's human

Absolutely thrilled with the service, friendliness and professionalism. So relieved to have found a vet who is so readily available to help and speak to us at any time.

Gerry,

Rudy's human

The team are so caring and professional. It feels like they really care as much for your pet as you do.

Sarah,

Puffy's human

Good to know

By age 3, around 80% of dogs and cats are already showing signs of dental disease. The American Veterinary Dental Association recommends a professional clean at least once a year.

Start early. From puppyhood or kittenhood, gently handle their mouths and reward them for letting you - getting them into good habits from the beginning.

We'll take a look at your pet's mouth at every vet visit, whatever brings you in. Dental health matters at every life stage.

We know the idea of anaesthesia can feel daunting. Every patient gets a bespoke anaesthetic plan, and rest assured we have excellent outcomes.

Pricing

Dental pricing can feel confusing - you don’t have the full picture until we’re doing the treatment. We’ll be in touch at every stage to get your go-ahead.

Fixed prices

Visit our pricing page to see the price of your pet’s dental scale and polish.

10% off

All Access members enjoy 10% off dental scale and polish treatments.

Clear estimates

Extractions are priced per tooth - you’ll always get a clear estimate upfront.

FAQs

It depends on your policy - it’s always best to check with your provider directly. Some cover routine dentistry; others only cover accidents or injuries to teeth; and some exclude dental treatment altogether. If you'd like to talk it through, we're happy to help you make sense of your cover.

Two reasons. Firstly, we believe in total transparency - so we include all foreseeable costs upfront, rather than quoting for the basics and adding on later. Secondly, our dentistry includes full general anaesthetic, IV fluids, pain relief, x-rays for cats, monitoring by a Registered Veterinary Nurse, and ultrasonic scaling and polishing - we don't cut corners. Before comparing quotes, it's worth checking exactly what each one actually includes.

The American Veterinary Dental Association recommends at least once a year. However, every pet is different, and we'll always work with you to find a plan that suits you both.
