What we offer

Our opening hours

Our clinics are open Monday to Friday 8.30am–7pm, Saturday 9am–5pm, and a selection are also open on Sundays and Bank Holidays 10am–5pm. If your usual clinic is fully booked or closed, you're always welcome at any of our others.

Tailored preventative care

For emergencies outside these hours, we work closely with Veteris and the Royal Veterinary College - trusted local out-of-hours providers, so your pet can get the care they need, whenever they need it.

A seamless handover

Call our usual number and we'll route you straight through to an emergency team. We'll receive a full report on your pet's care - usually by the following morning - so we're fully up to speed when you're back with us.

Hand-selected providers

We've chosen our out-of-hours partners carefully. Veteris has hospitals in Shoreditch, Battersea, Clapham and Twickenham, and also offers home visits across London. For our North London and Hertfordshire clinics, the Royal Veterinary College provides additional cover.

Partners who know us

Because these are established partnerships, the handover is as smooth as it can be at what's already a stressful time - and your pet's care stays joined up from the moment you call.

Good to know

Not every concern needs emergency care. If it can wait, you can book a next-day appointment at any of our clinics at any time via our website.

Our out-of-hours providers are separate businesses from Creature Comforts. We have no involvement in their pricing or billing, but we're happy to answer any questions you might have.

If you're ever unsure whether something needs urgent attention, call us and we'll help you decide.

Pricing

We believe in transparent pricing from the very first appointment.

Your choice

While we partner with Veteris and Royal Veterinary College, you can use any out-of-hours provider you prefer.

FAQs

Absolutely - the choice is always yours. That said, our existing arrangements with Veteris and the Royal Veterinary College mean it’s a more seamless experience to use them.

With Veteris, a vet can often come to you at home. If there’s some wait time, going directly to one of their hospitals in Shoreditch, Battersea, Clapham or Twickenham will be advised for urgent cases.

Yes - as long as we have a report and invoice from the provider, we can process the claim for you. However, it may be quicker for the out-of-hours provider to handle it directly, and we're happy to advise either way.
